Always a great venue to visit. I'm never disappointed here, especially with the seating, stage view and acoustics. Ingress/egress is always a treat for how ideal it's set up to handle/disperse the crowd. We can usually be on a surface street heading home within 10 minutes of a show ending. You won't find rock music acts here sadly, because that would probably offend their sensitive tastes. This is unfortunate because the Lansing area really needs something to compete the Fox Theater, The Filmore, KST, etc. What you will find is lots of nicely dressed, well mannered folks interested in more "cultured" performances. That's great, but a little more diversity would be most welcome.

There was an adequate amount of parking, well-kept facilities, and everything was beautiful and in good repair. The staff were courteous and helpful and we had a great experience. It was my goddaughter's high school graduation and there was plenty of seating, the sound was of good quality and we could clearly see everything on stage.

We went to see a ballet that was very good. The auditorium was nice sized but not too big. The seats are kind of small for larger folks or wide shoulders men. The parking ramp is on site and cost me $5.00. It was a good experience. Ticket cost is @ $25.00

With Lansing, Michigan as my hometown, I enjoyed numerous spectacular events at the Wharton Center for years, prior to moving to Ohio in 1987 --- and have returned to the Wharton Center for special ceremonies in a beautiful auditorium which should make anyone feel proud to be a part of!
