Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce

36295 Main Street

About

The Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce has been actively involved in the community since the early 1950's for the purpose of enhancing the community and promoting the development of existing and new businesses.  The business district has had many changes since then with the most recent being replacing of the street lights, adding brick work to the sidewalks, and replacing Christmas decorations, all of which the Chamber has been involved with.

The Chamber was instrumental in starting the Beef and Dairy Days celebration which it now co-sponsors with the Whitehall Lions, the American Legion and the Whitehall Volunteer Fire Department.

The Chamber placed signs and flower beds at the entrance of the city to welcome travelers.  They have also sponsored the May city-wide garage sale, flowers in the downtown planters, benches located on Main Street, the Festival of the Trees promotion and a Chamber of Commerce Technical College Scholarship.

The Chamber offers "Chamber Dollars" which are monetary certificates which can be purchased and used at any participating Whitehall Chamber business. They're like Gift Cards but only for Whitehall Businesses! They make great gifts or giveaways which specifically help the Whitehall community!

Chamber members are listed in the Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce brochure and here on our web site.  Whitehall Dollars may be purchased from RCU and Johnson Hardware.  Members are then able to accept them from these customers for goods and/or services.

The Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce general meetings are held the second Monday of every other month.  Please check our Calendar of Events page for location and time.

By becoming a member of the Chamber, you help your business or organization become stronger.  This, in turn, makes our own community a better place to live and work!
