The Whitesboro Fire Department, situated in the heart of Oneida County, Village of Whitesboro and the Town of Whitestown, is a 100% volunteer fire and EMS department. Currently our membership ranges from 50-70 members representing residents from both the town and the village. We are a member of the Oneida County Volunteer Firemen's Association Inc. as well as having full department memberships in the Central New York Firemen's Association and the Firemen's Association of the State of New York.

Our department provides twenty-four hour service throughout the year to our more than 13,500 residents in both the village and the town fire district. We offer EMS service at the Basic through Paramedic level. Our firefighters are provided with the best opportunities for training in both fire and emergency care services.
