About Us:

The Whittecar Rifle and Pistol Range was formed around 1974 and incorporated in 1976. Bill Whittecar was one of the founding members. Our current lease runs out in 2025. The facility is located on Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks land. Our range is located in Ravalli County near the city of Hamilton, Montana approximately 45 miles south of Missoula. We are a public range serving the communities of the Bitterroot Valley including Florence, Stevensville, Victor, Pinesdale, Corvallis, Hamilton, Darby and Sula.
