About Us:

The Wilson Lions Club was chartered on November 24th, 1941. The Lockport Lions Club was our sponsor. The club had 36 members, and the President was Earl W. Brydges. The charter members were Earl Brydges, James Cornell, Ronald Swick, John Meyers and Rex Stacy.

The club's 25th anniversary was celebrated in 1966 with 47 members attending the party. Many distinguised guests were there including, District Governor Lewis Winship, International Director Robert Uplinger, Past International Director Claude DeVorss, Village of Wilson Mayor Robert Horton and Town of Wilson Supervisor Walter Evans.

The Lions Club of Wilson, NY would like to help other clubs to promote their club and raise funds at the same time. Its so simple - We create a product designed especially and uniquely for your own LIons Club - a quality art print featuring an image of your choice - which can be purchased and displayed with pride by members and supporters of your club. The prints are published as a limited edition, numbered and certifcated, and handsomely framed. Printed on art canvas and protected by a fade-resistant coating for long life, they consittute a highly desirable, collectible item which your members and supporters will be eager to own.

The Wilson Lions Club has chosen a limited edition of 100. The print features our own Wilson Lions badge, the Town of Wilson seal and, with the approval of the US Postal Service, we have reproduced the stamp that was issued in 1967 to mark the 50th anniversary of LIons Internation, and there is an actual mint stamp attached to the print.
