Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated=Tau Kappa Zeta Graduate Chapter

Zeta Phi Beta is an international, historically black Greek-lettered sorority. It is a action oriented community conscious organization.   In 1920 five women from Howard University envisioned a sorority that would raise the consciousness of their people, encourage the highest standards of scholastic achievement, and foster a greater sense of unity among its members. these women believed that sorority elitism and socializing overshadowed the real mission for progressive organizations. From their zeal and passion, Zeta Phi Beta was born. Since then, members have worked to address societal ills, prejudices, poverty, and health concerns of the day.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(7) organization that is divided into eight intercontinental regions and 800+ Chapters located in the USA, Africa, Europe, Asia and the Caribbean.[3] In 1948, Zeta Phi Beta became the first Greek-letter organization to charter a chapter in Africa (in Monrovia, Liberia).  Zeta is always looking for college degreed women to continue and uphold the sorority's principles of Service, Scholarship, Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood.
