Zion Church Ministries was organized in 1895 by citizens of the Everett Community. Since then, Zion has held services in four different locations in Everett, with the most recent site located on the main thoroughfare of Everett. Zion Church Ministries has held the distinction of being the oldest predominantly African American church in the city of Everett. Currently, Zion is a multi-ethnic church welcoming people from all cultures and nationalities. In addition, the current pastor of Zion Church Ministries, Bishop Robert G. Brown, has the distinction of being the most senior pastor in the city, having served as pastor at Zion for over 25 years. Under his pastoral leadership, the mission of Zion has focused primarily on evangelism and discipleship. At Zion we:

Engage ourselves in the welfare of the community by active involvment in social issues.

Reach out to the community-at-large through a variety of programs, activities and events.

Provide disciples of Christ the opportunity to participate in continued Biblical education through the Covenant Christian Bible Institute.

Minister to the needs of the unsaved through Evangelistic Teams and evangelism services.

Believe that there is power in prayer and exercise that power through Prayer Services and prayer teams.

Teach the Word of God in Church School and Bible Study.

Preach the Word of God according to sound doctrine and the truth of the Holy Bible.

We are committed to "making disciples" for the Lord, Jesus Christ and our emphasis and focus is for all to SEE JESUS! If you are looking for a church where you can study God's Word and learn more about His Will for your life...come visit us and SEE JESUS!
