The Inaugural 5K Tink Trot will be held at Brook Run Park in Dunwoody, GA on April 30th, 2011 at 8a.m. The race will benefit the The Jacquie Hirsch For A.L.L. Foundation. The foundation is a registered 501 (c)(3) not - for profit organization of people, resources, funding and support that was established for the purpose of raising awareness about leukemia, cancer and bone marrow transplants as well as funding cancer research projects, planning events and providing support to cancer patients and their families. The Tink Trot is an event for for the serious runner or occasional walker. Registration is $25, with all proceeds going directly to the foundation. Please register at www.tinktrot.com.
