Description:

On Saturday, March 16, well-known re-enactor and historian, Carol Spacht, will chronicle the history of our nation’s most important symbol--its flag. The story of our flag’s creation is shrouded in mystery and legend; nobody knows where or when the first flag of the United States was made—or almost nobody knows.

Join the Historical Society of Montgomery County for a visit with Betsy Ross and hear the story of our flag from our nation’s premiere flag maker. After hearing her story you can decide: Did she or didn’t she make the flag.

Tea, sandwiches, and desserts will be served. The cost per person: $25 for members and $30 for non-members. Make your reservations no later than March 10, 2013. Seating is limited. The Historical Society of Montgomery County is located at 1654 DeKalb Street, Norristown, PA
