I have known I wanted to help care for people as individuals and especially with social and emotional concerns since I worked in Public Health. I have a broad range of experience as a social worker through adoptions, foster care and licensing, in-patient mental health, and outpatient therapy. I am passionate about walking through life’s struggles and journey with people, and to help them find ways to have a better quality of life. I believe strongly that treatment and therapeutic approach is individually specific and therefore utilize facets of different therapeutic approaches to best help those I work with. I believe strongly that our physical and mental health is very closely intertwined and will work to maximize both with you. I value a team-based approach and will collaborate with your other providers and specialists for your care, from your primary care provider, to dieticians and psychiatry. Outside of work I am always looking to support and am passionate about non-profits in the area for mental health and suicide prevention, women’s health/pregnancy, human trafficking, homelessness and substance recovery. I also stay active with church, my family, going to the beach, concerts, and exploring new places and activities!
