Elizabeth Huenefeldt, NP, is a board-certified cardiovascular electrophysiology nurse practitioner who sees patients 18 years and above. Elizabeth treats patients with disorders affecting the heart's electrical system, including arrhythmias, management of pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs). Elizabeth is passionate about keeping up with current evidence-based treatments, and her care philosophy is to view every patient as if they are a family member. Elizabeth always takes the time to explain conditions, helping alleviate uncertainty and empower patients to manage their cardiovascular health. She answers questions and breaks down information on complex diagnoses and treatments so patients and their families can more easily understand them. Elizabeth was an emergency room nurse for five years before becoming a cardiology nurse practitioner in 2014. When she isn’t caring for patients, Elizabeth loves spending time with her husband and their children, their dog and two cats. She enjoys watercolor painting, drawing, and reading about history. Elizabeth completed her medical training at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
