Steve Winklmann joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in June 2012, following a 26-year career in the United States Air Force, where he attained the rank of Colonel. There, he served in a variety of force support assignments, including squadron command, and retiring as a base wing and center vice commander.
A graduate of Norwich University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Troy University with a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management, Steve holds Series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses.
Steve advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk.
