Michelle E Allen, FNP



Michelle Allen, FNP, is a board-certified family medicine nurse practitioner who sees infants (from birth), teens and adult patients. Michelle provides preventative care, such as annual wellness exams, well-woman visits, vaccinations, school and sports physicals and manages acute and chronic illnesses. Conditions she treats include asthma, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, minor injuries, cold and flu symptoms, urinary tract infections and sprains and strains. Michelle, a highly experienced nurse practitioner, takes a comprehensive approach to patient care. She focuses on providing the best quality care for patients of all ages while helping them achieve their goals. She started her health career in high school, working as a certified nurse assistant before graduating and attending nursing school. Michelle enjoys caring for the rural population in Southeast Missouri. Michelle is originally from Annapolis, Missouri, and lives near Fredericktown. When she isn’t caring for patients, she enjoys cooking, writing, collecting antiques and spending time with her family. Michelle earned her Registered Nursing degree from the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College in St. Louis, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, her Master of Science in Nursing, and her Post-Masters in Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner degree at Saint Louis University School of Nursing in St. Louis, Missouri.
