Eric DeCamps

Award-winning magician and world-renowned sleight of hand artist, Eric DeCamps, returns to the New York performance scene with a new show entitled, Eric DeCamps: PURE MAGIC – A Performance of Contemporary Conjuring. Eric is the personification of a magician. He is debonair and engaging, enchanting and mystifying. In his hands ordinary objects become extraordinary. Every one of his performances are filled with compelling stories and visual artistry. Mr. DeCamps has developed a style of intimate conjuring that permits his audience to become part of the performance. Familiar objects like a champagne glass, a few silver dollars, a piece of tissue paper, a silk cord and a deck of playing cards are a few of the objects that share the stage with him. And, at every turn, he performs the seemingly impossible.

The New York Post said Torkova was, "Unquestionably among the best." Torkova has won numerous awards for his magic including the 2013 Merlin Award for Best Classical Magic from the International Magicians Society, is a Two-Time First Place Winner in the Society of American Magicians National Competition and won the prestigious Hofzinser Award for Classical Magic given by the Vienna Magic Theater in Austria. A scholar of magic and its history, Torkova has acted as a magic consultant to off-Broadway productions and has been featured in the bestseller Magic for Dummies by David Pogue.

Emcee, Thaddeus, has been performing in Long Island theaters for over 40 years as an actor and a magician. Thaddeus' use of comedy and storytelling has entertained and mystified his audiences.
