Patrick M. Butler Charitable Fund, The Ward Family and the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod Donate 1,500 Free Citizens Bank Pops by the Sea Tickets to Needy Families

Centerville, MA---Thanks to a generous donation by the Patrick M. Butler Charitable Fund and The Ward Family, 1,500 free Citizens Bank Pops by the Sea concert tickets will be made available to local needy families.  This special program, involving more than 25 nonprofit health and human services agencies across Cape Cod, will provide free family lawn seating to the 28th Annual Citizens Bank Pops by the Sea concert on Sunday August 11, 2013 at 5:00 p.m.

The concert, held on the Hyannis Village Green, marks the only Cape Cod appearance by the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra, with conductor Keith Lockhart, and featuring this year's Celebrity Guest Conductor, Blythe Danner.

"One of the most important aspects of Pops by the Sea is the incredible generosity around this iconic community celebration," said the Arts Foundation's Executive Director, Kevin Howard. "We are grateful for the generosity of these two family foundations in helping to create access for those that would probably not be able to come and enjoy what is always a memorable and moving experience."
