Libby Authentication Update

You may notice some changes coming to the way you log into your Cabarrus County Libby account soon!

Why is this happening?
Libby is updating their authentication process.

What does this mean for you?
If you use Libby with your Cabarrus County Library card or the NC Kids Digital Library, you will need to sign in with your library card number and? your PIN.

Call 704-920-2050 or email [email protected].

When will this change go into effect?
We don't know yet, but will keep you updated via our social media pages. In the meantime, just continue on using the app or website as normal!

Winter Under the Stars: Night Sky
Concord - Mon. Dec. 11 - 2pm-5pm
All Ages (Ages 10+) - Join us at the Concord Library on Monday, December 11 from 2-5pm and experience the Starlab Planetarium, courtesy of the State Library of North Carolina to learn about the night sky! Shows every hour at 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm.

Festive Peeps
Mt. Pleasant - Wed. December 13 - 1pm & 5pm
All Ages - Come create and decorate a sweet holiday home for a tasty Peep! Sponsored by the Friends of the Mt. Pleasant Library.

Kid’s Corner: Birds in the Snow
Midland - Thu. Dec. 14 - 4:30pm
Ages 6-11 - What is that in the snow? A bright red cardinal! In this monthly craft series, we will be decorating a cardboard cardinal with yarn as well as making a string art snowflake magnet.

Adult DIY: Felt Ornaments*
Harrisburg - Fri. Dec 15 - 4pm
Adult - Bring some holiday cheer with adorable and customizable felt ornaments! All supplies provided. Registration required - registration opens two weeks before the program occurs.

Preschool Story Time: Welcome 2024!
Kannapolis - Thu. Dec. 28 - 11am
Ages 3-5 with caregiver - Celebrate New Year’s (a few days early) with a craft and story. Come dressed to make a mess!
