Silly Statistics

In a recent and very scientific poll conducted on our Instagram stories, we asked if our patrons preferred to read books in hardcover, paperback, or on an e-reader.

Of the 41 respondents, 14 preferred hardcover, 16 preferred paperback, and 11 preferred to use an e-reader.

As you can see in the second pie-chart, this means that well over half the respondents prefer to read a physical book over an e-book.

And they say print is dead

Check out the poll below and add data to our super serious investigation.

In Memoriam

June was a sad month in the bookish community, as we lost four literary figures: Julie Garwood, prolific author of multiple NYT bestsellers, Carol Higgins Clark, bestselling author and actress, John Romita, Sr, a legendary writer and artist at Marvel Comics, and Cormac McCarthy, critically acclaimed novelist and playwright. Find their works in our catalog.
