Put Some Boo in Your Books This Month
Are y'all ready to get sPoOKy?! We've got a handful of ghoulish gatherings planned this October that will scare the socks off of you ? So if frightful fun is what you're searching for, join us for one (or all) of these festive celebrations:
Ghosts & Giggles at the Kannapolis Library: Tues., October 25 at 11am
Halloween Bash at the Midland Library: Sat., October 29 at 4pm
Spooky Story Time at the Concord Library: Mon., October 31 at 2pm

Deana Irvin Author’s Symposium
Join the Concord Friends of the Library for their annual Deana Irvin Author’s Symposium and luncheon featuring National Book Award winner and North Carolina native, Jason Mott.
Tickets are $30 per person and the event will be held at the Cabarrus Country Club. Reservation can be mailed with checks payable to the Concord Friends of the Library PO Box 795 Concord, NC 28026. Money must be received by October 17.
Peter Pan Dance-A-Story presented by the Charlotte Ballet
Children ages 3-9 will be introduced to ballet by reading a portion of the classic story and participating in creative movement with music from the ballet, a costume/prop show-and-tell, and a take home activity worksheet.
