City Employee Retirement System

The City of Smithville is considering a change to the employee retirement system.  Per state statute, changes to the retirement plan require a supplemental actuarial valuation.  This study has been requested and received.  Statute further requires that the valuation be made available for public inspection for at least 45 calendar days before the Board may take action to approve a resolution adopting proposed changes.  The document may be found here and will be available for viewing in person at City Hall
