SBA Deadline Extension

Businesses that suffered physical damages from severe storms between July 7 and July 17 have been given a one-month extension to apply for SBA loans.

The SBA is extending the deadline for Physical Damage Loan Applications to October 12, 2023.

We recommend applying in person at the Lamoille County Business Recovery Center

Lamoille County Agriculture Building, 29 Sunset Drive, Morrisville, VT 05661. Bottom floor.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Saturday – 10 am – 2 pm

Sunday – closed

Business Emergency Gap Assistance Program

Business Emergency Gap Assistance Program

The Department of Economic Development has launched the Business Emergency Gap Assistance Program to help businesses and nonprofits that suffered physical losses from the flood. The application portal for the $20 million state funded grant program in now open. Visit the Business Emergency Gap Assistance Program web page for more details and to apply.

Economic Injury Survey

The Agency of Commerce and Community Development is asking businesses to please fill out its new Economic Injury Survey. There is currently no grant program to help businesses that lost revenue and suffered no physical damages, but gathering this data gives ACCD a more complete picture of the flooding's toll and informs efforts to advocate for recovery, relief and resiliency programs.

Efficiency Vermont Rebates for Flood Damaged Equipment

Businesses whose heating, cooling, refrigeration, or commercial kitchen equipment was damaged by recent floods can receive a $1,000 flood recovery rebate per product, up to four products, in addition to standard offers, for the purchase of new qualifying equipment.
