MADAY, Mothers Aware of Depression and Anxiety in Youth, Visit  the Fairfield Public Library with Wellness Topics

Fairfield, Conn.,  Join us for an evening with professionals from MADAY, Mothers Aware of Depression and Anxiety in Youth, when they visit on Monday, May 6 at 6:30 pm at the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road. They will be presenting on wellness topics that can help to reduce anxiety in a program for tweens and teens ages 9 and up and their parents. Be introduced to yoga and meditation to learn how to create a calm space for yourself with Edel Keane, a yoga instructor. Learn how nutrition can help you manage stress and anxiety with Simone Wan, a licensed acupuncturist/herbalist and health coach. Discover how hypnosis can help you ‘reset’ your mind and develop your inner voice with Tesa Baum, a certified hypnotherapy practitioner and mindset coach. Learn cognitive behavioral techniques to help you change your thinking to change how you feel and manage negative automatic thoughts with Meg Nisenson, a cognitive behavioral therapist.
