Beacon Brass Quintet with Fireworks and Picnic

6:00pm: Picnic by High Tea Catering

Join us for homemade BBQ that embraces the beauty and flavors of the summer season and the natural ambiance of The Cathedral of the Pines. We will use the freshest, homemade offerings. All menu items will be contained in eco-friendly containers and placed in a classic picnic basket the guests can keep! A red and white gingham tablecloth will be placed in each basket for guests to eat on.

7:30pm: Beacon Brass Quintet Concert

Join us for an evening of Brass music under the stars!
Outdoor concert followed by a Fireworks show by Atlas Fireworks. Admission includes summertime desserts between the concert and the fireworks, picnic dinner sold separately.

Ina Zdorovetchi, harp: Ina Zdorovetchi is Associate Professor and Head of Harp Department at Boston Conservatory at Berklee; Outstanding Music Faculty of the Year Award. Soloist with the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra, West Deutsche Radio Orchestra, Portland Symphony Orchestra, Jerusalem Symphony, Haifa Symphony. Active as recitalist, chamber musician and recording artist, featured in Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, Rockport Music Festival, Brevard Music Center, Gardner Museum, WGBH Radio Boston, World Harp Congress, American Harp Society National Conference.

Sarah Brady, flute: Called “enchanting” by the Boston Globe, flutist Sarah Brady is sought after across the country as a soloist, chamber musician, and master teacher. An avid promoter of new music she has premiered and recorded new music from many of today’s top composers.
