Our Mission:

The purpose of the Fauquier Free Clinic is to provide primary health care to uninsured individuals and families residing in Fauquier and Rappahannock counties with a special effort to include all children.

Program Description:

Volunteer doctors, dentists, nurses, and administrators keep the clinic in operation. We provide health care to uninsured residents of Fauquier and Rappahannock Counties, mostly working poor families who earn a little too much to qualify for federal assistance. The need is tremendous: we have seen over 16,000 patients since we opened our doors.

The Fauquier Free Clinic serves patients from low-income households in Fauquier and Rappahannock Counties. Patients with Medicaid, Medicare, or other insurance for health care are not eligible for our clinic.

Our services are provided by volunteers. With the support of local specialist doctors and dentists, local pharmacies, and the Fauquier Hospital, we can provide high quality comprehensive care to you and your family. Although many of our services are free for eligible patients, sometimes you will be asked to pay for labs, x-rays, or other services provided somewhere that we have referred you to. It is your responsibility to ask specialists and other health care providers about any charges before you get the treatment
