Our Mission:

It is the mission of the Marshfield United Methodist Church to spread the will and Word of God as evidenced by the teaching and example of Jesus through acts of caring and sharing in our congregation, community and world. We pledge to do this by:

- living and witnessing in our community and the world as an inclusive Reconciling Congregation;
- providing inspirational and moving worship experiences to bring people to God and Jesus;
- insuring that no member of our church family is ever alone during a time of crisis or need;
- taking the lead in ecumenical programs in our community;
- participating fully in the convectional programs of the United Methodist Church;
- offering an oasis and haven of warmth, love, acceptance and support for all who are troubled and lost.

Our Vision:

It is the vision of the Marshfield United Methodist Church that our church will be known as a community of people to which others are drawn because they see God in our people and our ministries.

Our Statement of Reconciliation:

The Marshfield United Methodist Church warmly welcomes people of every age, race, ethnic or religious background, gender, sexual orientation, mental or physical ability, economic or family status. All God's children have special gifts to be honored and respected in an atmosphere of faith and love which provides freedom for growth. We hold fast to the God-given goodness that is in every human being. Our faith compels us to accept nothing less than respect for the human rights of all people. We therefore support social practices which seek to eliminate all forms of discrimination, injustice and violence. As a Reconciling Congregation we will keep our fellowship alive with an atmosphere of welcome, acceptance, and warmth and work together for the full participation of all persons in the life of the church.
