The Martinsburg Center will effectively serve the area's non-traditional students and will deliver Shepherd's outstanding academic instruction to the region while offering a convenient location, flexible hours, and affordable price.

As a public liberal arts university, Shepherd is only one of 26 members of COPLAC - the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges. Typically, there is only one per state, and are defined by their size around 4,000 students, based in the liberal arts, low faculty-student ratios - traits of a private liberal arts college - but at a public college price of tuition.

We currently offer the Masters in Business Administration (MBA) program with Concentration in Accounting, Public Management, Sport Management, and Health Administration, the Regents Bachelor of Arts (RBA) program, the Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Nursing track, and recently added the Special Education Multi-categorical Endorsement. We will be adding more programs in the future.
