In 2012, the Town purchased nearly 112 acres located at the end of Grigsby Avenue with plans to shape the land into a park. The land, used as farmland before the Town purchased it, features a combination of both pasture and woods.Â
The parkland at Sugg Farm is open for special events. The Town's annual Spring Fling, July 5th celebration and HollyFest are held on the property.Â
The property features several structures, including a horse stable and the previous owner's home. The land also provides connectivity to Bass Lake Park, an existing parks and recreation facility.Â
