Erik Bruce joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in September 2014, following a 20-year career in the United States Air Force. There, he served as a career security forces officer with three assignments as a squadron commander. He attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and was awarded the Bronze Star medal. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Administration and West Coast University with a Master of Management Information Systems, Erik holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses plus state life and health insurance licenses. Erik advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk.
