Parents tell me their kids get excited to come to the doctor's office when they hear they will be seeing me. I have always connected with children on a special level. Often, I find they’re comfortable with me even during our first visit. I love infants and children. Interacting with them and watching them grow and reach developmental and physical milestones is my favorite part of my job. Likewise, working with parents and helping them navigate the obstacles and miracles of raising children is extremely fulfilling. Parents tell me I am gentle, kind and calm with their children. Interacting at each child’s level is key. I provide my care in a manner that is most comfortable for the family, whether my patient is sitting on a parent’s lap or on the exam table. I am careful to explain everything thoroughly, from the tools I am using, to exams performed, and why I ask certain questions. I outline every diagnosis, how I came to it, and what my treatment plan is so everyone knows how to best care for my patients. My top priority is ensuring the care I provide is part of a team effort. The opinions of my patients and their parents matter. All questions are welcome. I am here to validate each concern, no matter how small.
