Jeremy Stoddart, M.D., Assistant Professor (Clinical), earned his medical degree at the University of Utah. He completed his psychiatry residency with the University of Washington in the advanced clinician track in Seattle, WA and Boise, ID. He also served as chief resident in Boise and continued as faculty with UW and also at the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho where he trained both psychiatry residents and family medicine residents. Dr. Stoddart more recently returned to training and completed a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at the University of Utah. He is board certified in Psychiatry by the ABPN and board eligible for Sleep Medicine. Before joining our faculty, he worked in Idaho in a family medicine clinic in an integrated care model and focussed on delivering high value care to underserved and refugee populations who otherwise lacked access to mental health care. He especially appreciated working with the challenging and medically complex patients in collaboration with primary care. At the same time, he also worked in corrections and provided care for inmates in multiple prisons throughout Idaho both in person and using state of the art telemedicine. After joining the University"s clinical faculty, he will be sharing his time between the University of Utah"s Sleep Wake Center and the University Neuropsychiatric Institute outpatient clinics and is eager to further explore the clinical overlap between sleep and psychiatry and how these two aspects of health can be optimally managed in our community.
