That is why we created Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute (LVOI)–Dickson City Walk-in Injury Center. You can just walk in, no appointment necessary, and receive treatment for any bone, joint or muscle issues. If you come to the Walk-in Injury Center with a chronic issue, our clinicians may examine you to be sure there is no emergent problem present and then refer you to a specialist for further care. We are located inside LVOI–Dickson City. No appointment is necessary. Hours: Monday–Friday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Phone: (570) 307-1782 Prescription refills Prescription refills can be requested Monday–Thursday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m.–noon. at 570-307-1767. Please allow 48 hours for your pharmacy to receive your prescription. NOTE: Our physicians generally do not accept phone calls while seeing patients. However, in most cases, a message will be taken by the office staff, and the physician or nurse will return your call later in the day. Urgent or emergency calls are accepted at all hours. All doctors in the practice alternate night calls. If you are calling to have a prescription refilled, we ask that you call during office hours so that we will have your chart available. A request for prescription drugs over weekend periods will be evaluated by the covering physician and may be deferred until records are available.
