Mitchell Kuhl is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and fellowship-trained in orthopedic trauma. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO and earned his medical degree from Des Moines University in Des Moines, IA. He completed his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Ohio University in Toledo, OH and completed his fellowship in orthopedic trauma at OrthoIndy in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Kuhl’s practice is focused on skeletal trauma and fracture management. Some of his clinical services include limb lengthening and deformity correction, fracture nonunion, stress fractures, and osteomyelitis treatment. Dr. Kuhl is a member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and Orthopaedic Trauma Association. When not working, Dr. Kuhl enjoys spending time with his family and golden retriever, Brewer. He also likes working in the yard, reading about current events, finance, and the economy, and trying his hand at various sports/activities including fishing, golf, tennis, and sporting clays. As a family, they love to travel. Hiking along the waterfalls of Yosemite and touring the art and architecture of Paris and Vienna are among their most memorable experiences.
