W. Anthony Lee, M.D., is a board-certified vascular surgeon at Baptist Health and the chief of vascular surgery at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. He treats the entire range of vascular diseases, with an emphasis on complex thoracic and thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms and dissections. Dr. Lee currently serves as chief of vascular surgery at the Christine E. Lynn Heart and Vascular Institute, a part of Baptist Health. He is also a clinical professor of surgery at Florida Atlantic University College of Medicine in Boca Raton, Florida. After earning his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, he completed his residency in general surgery at University of Michigan. He then completed a fellowship in vascular and endovascular surgery at Stanford University. Dr. Lee is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also the past president of the Florida Vascular Society and a distinguished member of the Society for Vascular Surgery. He has authored more than 30 book chapters, nearly 130 articles in peer-reviewed journals and served as the principal investigator in more than 25 medical device clinical trials. His clinical research focuses on the surgical repair of complex aortic aneurysms, and his team is currently studying the safety and efficacy of a novel, state-of-the-art aortic stent graft to treat aortic aneurysms.
