Goals:
Provide direct services that assist in creating a more manageable lifestyle for women with chronic and life threatening illnesses;
Provide clients with referrals and advocacy that improve access to health care, social services and benefits programs; and
Develop and implement programs that empower and educate women on issues related to their healthcare and well-being, and that are inclusive of diverse needs.
Core Services:
Transportation to medical and social service appointments both locally and in Boston;
Financial assistance through direct payment to providers to meet medically related expenses;
Support Groups and special programs;
Assistance with errands and light chores around the home;
A Food and Personal Care products pantry; and
Social Services information, referrals, medical advocacy
